Pocahontas high grade coal is pea sized for forging and blacksmith work. Our coal is Bituminous coal. The carbon content of bituminous coal is 79.62% as received. Its heat value ranges from 14,373 -15,724 Btu's per pound - greater than either lignite or the sub-bituminous types.
